The Cape Coral Fire Department organizes and attends community events designed to involve, educate, and support Cape Coral residents and visitors with the goal of fostering relations and building a safer community.
On the first Saturday in November, the Cape Coral Fire Department hosts its annual Open House where the public is invited to visit any of Cape Coral’s twelve fire stations for the opportunity to meet firefighters and learn about the fire apparatus, equipment, and services. In addition, a variety fun and educational activities and displays, many from our partner public safety agencies, are available at each station. Information on the 2023 Open House will be available in September.
Each year, the Cape Coral Fire Department collects toys and gifts for children in our community who have special needs, suffer from chronic illnesses such as cancer, are in foster care, or have families struggling with financial difficulties. The 2022 Toy Drive has come to an end. Please check back at the beginning of November for more information on requesting or donating toys and gifts.
